Location: Swindon (hybrid working available)

Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience

The opportunity

This brand-new position will focus on supporting the transformation of our Retail Protection business into a centre of excellence – where we deliver on our employee promise of creating an outstanding place of work for our people and a market leading service for our customers.

You will have an absolute focus on enhancing our continuous improvement culture, working across multiple teams and stakeholders to develop solutions that deliver a frictionless service that our customers and advisers really value. Simultaneously, you will be responsible for developing the capability of our people, so we have a sustainable and robust framework for continuously improving.

This role is available part-time, job-share or full time. This is because we want the best people for our roles, and we recognise that sometimes those people aren’t available full-time.

What will you be doing?

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Enhancing and supporting our culture of continuous improvement, constantly seeking to improve what we do and how we do it

  • Developing our in-house capability within multiple teams – training and coaching colleagues to yellow belt and above

  • Leading the reviews of existing processes and methodology to identify any potential efficiencies

  • Ensure any changes to processes or systems are fully tested, documented, trained, and monitored.

  • Ensure that all metrics and success criteria from the desired state are understood and measurable and deliver business benefit.

  • Ensuring that our Customer, Colleague, and technology transformation plans are supported

  • Own, lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives up to and including kaizen events.

Who are we looking for?

Ideally you will have:

  • Proven lean management experience, ideally green or black belt qualified

  • Outstanding influencing, communication, and people skills

  • An investigative mindset with strong problem-solving skills

  • Strong contact centre best practice experience, ideally in a financial services or regulated environment

  • Previous experience of working in an omni-channel contact centre environment

  • Strong commercial awareness
