Job Summary

This job opportunity would be suitable for someone with experience in an underwriting support role.

Gather, analyze, and interpret a wide variety of data and collaborating with key stakeholders develops system and/or process enhancements to ensure/improve data quality and timeliness. Analyzes collected information according to established statistical plans. Prepare reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids to enable the completion of complex assignments.

Client Internally Focused - The job’s core deliverables rely on delivering service to internal clients, usually at the line manager or employee level. May involve sharing subject matter expertise to others in the organization or supporting others in their efforts to deliver on our promise.

Job Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and 3 or more years of experience in the Statistical Analysis area

OR

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in the Statistical Analysis area

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Insurance industry experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong Microsoft Office experience

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Experience with the PMS, ZIP, Regul8, CESAR, and/or ClaimZcenter, strongly preferred

  • Knowledge of insurance industry regulatory landscape, including the role of statistical bureaus e.g. IBC,GAA

Job Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities:

  • Complies with regulation, meet reporting schedules and incorporate changes in reporting requirements, complying with regulations,.

  • Develop processes that streamline the flow of work and increase quality.

  • Provide regular information to management regarding filings and reports.

  • Monitor effectiveness of coding requirements and makes changes as necessary.

  • Analyze collected information according to established statistical plans

  • Business Travel, as required

  • Extended Hours during Peak Periods, as required

  • Maintain a Valid Driver's License, as required

  • Regular Predictable Attendance
