We operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week from our 3 operation centres in Australia, Canada, and the UK, responding to the cries for help we receive from travellers across the globe.

We are looking for a Telephony and Voice Engineer to join our growing global technology team and support the organisation’s communication infrastructure.

So, what’s the job?

  • You’ll provide escalated technical support, troubleshooting and fault rectification of high-level technical issues related to voice/telephony and network services.

  • You’ll act as an interface between the organisation and suppliers/vendors/carriers regarding high level technical voice issues.

  • You’ll provide administration, maintenance, monitoring and upgrades of the telephony systems.

  • You’ll support the creation, testing and implementation of scripts.

  • You’ll support the creation and administration of call workflows.

  • You’ll handle the support requests and day-to-day activities by liaising with business units, other IT teams and vendor partners.

  • You’ll support the definition of product and technical requirements in collaboration with the business and technology partners.

And what are we looking for?

  • You’ll have experience with Genesys and Genesys Cloud, Call Scripting & Call flows.

  • You’ll have hands-on experience on Voice Gateways and networking, favourable skills in supporting (MPLS, SDWAN, Firewall rule management and VPN’s).

  • You’ll have sound knowledge on protocols like VoIP, SIP, H.323, SDP.

  • You’ll have experience working with data analytics, AI and automation.

  • You’ll have hands-on experience with contact centre application and in supporting a mission critical contact centre environment.

  • You’ll be comfortable using Microsoft Teams or other similar collaboration and meeting applications with strong written & verbal communication skills.

  • You’ll possess a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • You’ll have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

  • You’ll have excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
