Job Summary

The Sr. Consultant will assist with the development of corporate vision and strategies for Zurich Canada by providing analytics, insights and deep-dive support on key organizational initiatives. The consultant will execute multiple assigned projects to support strategic operational planning for the office of the CEO by collecting data and input from other parts of the organization.

Job Accountabilities

  • Ensuring best-in-class consultation to the CEO on strategic and business decisions

  • Proactively prepare in-depth critical analysis, briefings and recommendations

  • Ensure relevant input from key stakeholders across functions at all levels, and supplement with relevant additional data as needed.

  • Prepare input for the CEO on selected topics of the strategic agenda

  • Plan and prepare leadership team meetings, including agenda, content and key messages

  • Stay up to date on relevant trends and innovations, to enable robust input and analysis

  • Support the CEO and Executive Team Members agendas by helping track and follow up on key priorities and actions

  • Support the development and preparation of key presentations by gathering data from stakeholders and providing analysis and output

  • Provide strategic, analytical and communication support for critical organizational projects

Job Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Strategic and Operational Consulting area

  • 2 years’ experience as a consultant or strategic advisor

  • Advanced experience with data management and presentation tools, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strategic mindset and top-down problem solving capabilities, able to think holistically with close attention to detail

  • Experience defining strategies, crafting roadmaps and presentations, and contributing to engagements that build impact on business performance

  • Ability to foster stakeholder relationships, successfully deliver project outcomes and meet the expectations from the office of the CEO

  • Strong analytical skills, able to leverage and translate data into easy-to-understand briefings that drive impactful business decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA)
