Global Relationship Leader


Job Summary

Work closely with the Zurich Canada Business Unit Leaders to provide support Relationship Management for all aspects of global service delivery to our key relationship customers. Coordinate all global aspects of the relationship customer initiative in the country by acting as chief liaison between Zurich Financial Services global business units and the specific needs of relationship customers. Coordinate all the relationship management global strategies to ensure that the relationship management model maintains rigorous consistency in its global approach to customer and internal BU interaction.

Influencer Internally Focused - The job’s core deliverables rely on influencing or negotiating with a range of internal clients, usually at the line manager or employee level. Relationships typically involve promoting cooperation, collaboration or acceptance.

Job Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Global Underwriting, Customer Service Delivery including front-line corporate customer interface area


  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 9 or more years of experience in the Global Underwriting, Customer Service Delivery including front-line corporate customer interface area


  • Experience in managing profitable, external strategic relationships

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Insurance industry experience

  • Extensive international travel or 3 or more years of foreign-based work experience; with an insurance company

  • Foreign language skills

  • Strategic planning experience in developing new concepts that help shape group wide strategy development

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong analytical, technical underwriting strategic planning skills and financial skills

  • Advanced writing skills

  • Experience collaborating across work groups
