Protecting travellers – and supporting those responsible for their safety – is our business. We operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week from our 4 operation centres in Australia, Canada, Malaysia, and the UK, responding to the cries for help we receive from travellers across the globe.

So, what’s the job?

• You’ll effectively account manage and retain all allocated existing clients

• You’ll maximise cross and up-sell opportunities with existing clients to meet Account Extension targets

• You’ll maximise business development opportunities with existing clients across borders internationally

• You’ll partner with Operations and Medical teams to understand client issues and identify and address barriers to overall customer service

• You’ll drive quarterly business reviews with clients and identify threats and opportunities for WTP and act on them accordingly

• You’ll develop and maintain a sales pipeline for new extension business for Subscription services, Travel Risk Mgt, and Consulting services

• You’ll develop and implement strategic account management plans for key client

• You will drive new business generation by working with existing clients

• You’ll work closely with Marketing, partners and providers to generate and qualify new leads

• You’ll represent WTP in attending meetings, presentations, conferences in view to generate new business opportunities or build brand awareness

And what are we looking for?


• Bachelors Degree and 10 or more years of experience in the Business Development area


• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 12 or more years of experience in the Business Development area


• Business development and/or sales experience


  • You will be an established Account Manager with experience managing high value clients

  • You will have experience in a service-related area such as client services or sales support

  • You will have a successful track record in account management in a B2B, complex solution selling environment

  • You will have a proven track record of overachievement of sales targets delivered both individually and as part of a team

  • You will bring excellent negotiation, public speaking, written and verbal communication skills

  • Previous experiencein insurance or assistance is ideal
