Description

Zurich is seeking a Workplace Solutions Senior Consultant to join the Underwriting Technology and Workplace Solutions team. This person will report to a UW Technology/Workplace Solutions Director and be part of the Enterprise Services function.This person will work in our North America Headquarters in Schaumburg, IL.

This is a senior-level consultant leading projects that support global and/or regional strategic underwriting technology and operations priorities. Leads multiple projects of medium to large size and complexity; may coordinate other consultants participating in assigned projects. Takes a holistic approach to business practices and processes, including opportunities for improvement and driving solutions.Responsible for planning, managing, tracking, and executing projects that deliver high quality and timely results to the businessinclude creating change management and communications plans, creative problem solving and root cause analysis, identifying and designing business solutions, developing training, implementation and post-implementation support plans.Partners across the business to identify, develop, and implement change management strategies; acts as a change agent in the implementation of initiatives that support strategic and operational priorities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 6 or more years of experience in operations and project management

OR

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in operations and project management

  • Experience leading organization change

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships

  • Project Management Professional Certification from the Project Management Institute

  • In-depth knowledge of the tools, concepts, methodologies and techniques of business process re-engineering, change management, performance metrics and measures, customer assessment, cost/benefit analysis, bench marking, process mapping/simulation, data collection, problem identification and interpretation

  • Broad-based knowledge of insurance industry including knowledge of insurance business processes and processing

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Strong Analysis and problem-solving skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
