Zurich is currently looking for a Sr. Performance Reporting Team Lead to work out of our North American headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois. While this position will be based out of our North American Headquarters in Schaumburg, IL, we are offering the flexibility to work both in the office and remotely. You will collaborate with your manager to set a schedule that supports you, our customers and the team.

This position will be responsible for coordinating the ZNA Performance management process, developing financial presentations to communicate financial results, forecasts and plans to Sr. Leadership and driving improved interaction with BU Finance Teams ensuring delivery of our financial commitments.

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating timelines, requirements and acting as the first point of contact for the ZNA Business Unit Review (BUR) process

  • Coordinate the collection, consolidation and review of BUR inputs and deep dives from the business units and other functional areas

  • Lead / Support the preparation of key messages, reporting and financial analysis to brief executive leadership teams on actual and projected financial results

  • Develop and maintain Performance View Adjustment (PVA) models and coordinate the process with Group and ZNA Leadership

  • Develop written communications (e.g., PowerPoint, MD&A) that convey a cohesive story, including development of analysis and commentary, to a broad range of executive audiences (e.g., Group Planning & Performance Management, local and Group Board of Directors, investors, Rating Agencies)

  • Conduct recurring and ad hoc analyses to help Finance leadership understand performance drivers for over/under-performance against the forecast and/or Plan

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years of experience in Strategic ManagementAND

  • Travel 5%-10%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills and experience communicating financial and business results to Sr. Leaders

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to apply a structured approach in dealing with partial or incomplete information

  • Insurance industry experience

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office experience

  • Technology experience related to one or more of the following areas: Financial reporting systems, MS Power BI, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Thinkcell, Business Objects or other query tools

  • MBA or other applicable professional certifications
