Sr. Financial Performance Analyst
Zurich is currently lookingfor a Senior Performance Analyst to work out of our North Americanhead-quarters in Schaumburg, Illinois.
The Senior Performance Analyst acts as a liaison betweenbusiness and finance by providing detailed financial analysis to supportdecision making for the Business Unit. The role spans across all Market Facing Units and Function, providingfinancial support and expertise.
Additional responsibilities will include:
Working with business to develop business strategy and otherinitiatives through provision of advanced financial analysis and modelling
Delivering robust, timely information relating to all aspectsof financial performance in order to enhance business decision making
Leading the preparation of key messages, reporting andfinancial analysis to brief leadership teams on projected outcome of specificinitiatives
Leading the production of all regular benefit tracking forkey initiatives within the relevant region/segment to ensure delivery offinancial targets
Acting as a point of contact for business for all mattersfinancial, acting as a conduit between finance and the Business Units andsupport functions as required
Developing the annual budget/plan and forecast by closelyworking with the business. Ensure outputs are robust and completed in a timelymanner.
Preparing analysis and commentary for all group projectreporting requirements and be a first point of contact for all queries relatingto financial projections to ensure all project deliverables are met
Leading the production of profitability reporting on behalfof the region/segment, monitoring performance trends by product/line ofbusiness to highlight any material under or over performances
Leading the development of new reporting initiatives for theregion/segment in order to provide additional, deeper insight on performancetrends to facilitate enhanced decision making
Bachelor’sDegree in Accounting or Finance and 8 or more years of experience in theAccounting or Finance areaOR
HighSchool Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in theAccounting or Finance area
Bachelor’sDegree in Accounting, Finance, Math or the Sciences
Financial statement analysis experience
Insurance industry experience
Project management experience
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Technology experience related to one or more ofthe following areas: financial reporting systems, Business Objects or similarquery tools
Strong verbal and written communication skills
