Zurich North America is looking for a SharePoint Administration Intern to work out of our North American Headquarters in Schaumburg, IL for the summer of 2024.
Come join us in the Data Management Organization and try out your skills in Data Management, Business Analysis and SharePoint Administration! This is an excellent opportunity to gain insight into a professional environment as a Business Analyst in Data Management and Analytics, all while being trained on SharePoint administration and getting to use your basic SQL skills. This team genuinely cares about growing your professional insights and talents to better prepare you for a solid career!
Primary responsibilities will include:
Implement and oversee department web-based document collaboration platform for the Data Management Organization (managing permissions, re-organize, create, leverage, and manage content types)
Business Analytics focusing on SharePoint Administration
Learn company purpose, values, strategy, and behaviors
Other development opportunities:
Learn business analysis skills
Data Management applications and tools
Professional soft skills
Engage with various team members to accomplish their work and duties and build an understanding of the team’s dynamics in a collaborative team setting
Basic Qualifications:
Actively pursuing a Bachelors degree
Currently enrolled in a Bachelors program and will be enrolled in the fall of 2024
Two or more years of college coursework (should be a rising Junior or Senior)
Be legally eligible to work in the U.S indefinitely
Preferred Qualifications:
Pursuing a Bachelors degree Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field
Minimum cumulative current grade point average of 3.0 (current could mean last semester GPA)
Basic knowledge of SharePoint
Intermediate Microsoft Office
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Problem-solving skills in a customer-focused environment
Experience in a leadership role
Self-motivated and able to work independently
