Zurich is currently looking for three interns within our Risk Engineering Department for Summer of 2024. The intern will work under immediate supervision and will perform requested tasks alongside professionals who perform these roles. Generally, this position is part of a program with an assigned mentor.
As a Zurich Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain career-building experience with an industry-leading global insurance company.
Data Analytics intern responsibilities would include:
Supporting digital platform initiatives
Supporting innovation initiatives to develop new capabilities
Structuring innovation to meet needs of field Risk Engineers Assisting with innovation training and services delivery
Adhoc projects
Property Risk Engineer Intern responsibilities would include:
Collaborate on risk selection and risk mitigation strategies
Compose technical research and support for field staff engineers
Assist with building out new Innovative Service Offerings
Creation and presentation of internal and external support materials
Project & Project Management Intern responsibilities would include:
Create market research reports for risk engineering
Project and event management with ad hoc projects to be completed
Sales and Marketing analytics report presentations
Ad hoc projects
Basic Qualifications:
Must be currently enrolled in a college or university program and will be enrolled in the upcoming Fall 2024 Semester
Zurich approved Apprenticeship program including an Associate Degree and No prior experience required in the administrative area
Be legally eligible to work in the U.S. indefinitely
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrates problem solving skills in a customer focused environment
Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, punctual, professional, and able to work independently
