Zurich in North America is seeking an IT AuditManager to join Group Audit as part of our Schaumburg team. You will apply a risk based audit approach toa portfolio of local and global audit projects that are information technology basedand cover infrastructure, application layer and info security. As IT Audit Manager, you will plan audits fromdesign through execution and report on results and findings. You will also coordinate the audit timelinesand sets reasonable expectations with the business and internal audit PortfolioManagers.

Initially, it is expected that you will focusprimarily on IT audits across our General Insurance and Life Insurance operationsin North America, including execution of IT audit disciplines ranging from ITgeneral controls, application, infrastructure, information security and datasecurity. However, this opportunityoffers long term growth and development not only of your technical IT auditingskill set, but broader knowledge of both the P&C and life insuranceindustry, including emerging technologies as well. As part of the audit cycle, you will haveexposure to, and interact with, senior-level executives and key stakeholders inthe business. It is expected that you may also play arole in developing the global IT audit plan and in assisting in developingvarious communications for use in reporting to senior management. You mayalso have the opportunity to participate in global audits and interact with leadersand team members from other business units and geographies across the globe.

You should be willing and able to travelnationally approximately 10-25%.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’sDegree

  • 6or more years of experience in IT, finance, accounting or audit (IT,compliance, financial, operational),OR a combination of each

  • Willing and able to travel approximately10-25% nationally

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Bachelor’s degree in InformationTechnology or Operations and Information Management


  • IT auditing experience

  • P&C insurance industry experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communicationskills

  • Ability to present information to technical andnon-technical audiences

  • Project management skills

  • Ability to work cross functionally as well asacross all levels of the organization

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities,establish and meet deadlines

  • Negotiation skills
