Zurich North America is currently hiring a IT Advisory Enterprise Architect - Pega to work in a hybrid schedule at our Schaumburg North America HQ.
The IT Advisory Enterprise Architect Pega Applications position will lead the design and architecture of Pega applications, ensuring they align with enterprise architecture standards.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Lead the design and architecture of Pega applications, ensuring they meet business requirements and align with enterprise architecture standards.
• Create and maintain detailed design documents, including class structures, data models, and process flows.
• Oversee the development and configuration of Pega applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with development teams / Pega product teams to resolve technical issues and optimize application performance.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Required:
• Bachelors Degree in Information Technology and 6 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area
OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent in Information Technology and 8 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area
OR
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree in Information Technology and 8 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area
Preferred:
• What skill sets would the ideal candidate possess to meet the needs of this role?
• 10+ years of experience in software development using Pega
• Expertise in Pega including Pega Rules, Pega BPM, Pega UX frameworks like Cosmos and Constellation, Pega DX APIs
• Proficiency in Pega application design, including class structures, data models, and process flows.
• Experience with Pega integration technologies – queue based, API based, and file based integrations
• Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) certification is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Experience in design and implementation of large BPM programs using Pega
• Knowledge in Commercial Insurance domain and hands on experience in Commercial insurance system of records

We encourage candidates with salary expectations beyond the provided range to apply, as they will be considered based on their experience, skills, and education. The salary indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The proposed salary rangefor this position is$121,800.00 - $199,600.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 20%.
