Zurich is currently lookingfor a Financial Performance Analyst to work out of our North Americanhead-quarters in Schaumburg, Illinois.

The Financial Performance Analyst acts as a liaison betweenbusiness and finance by providing detailed financial analysis to support decisionmaking for the Business Unit.

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the development of the businessstrategy and other initiatives through provision of regular accurate detailedfinancial analysis and insight

  • Delivering robust, timely information relating toall aspects of financial performance in order to enhance business decisionmaking

  • Acting as a point of contact for business for allmatters financial, acting as a conduit between finance and the Business Unitsand support functions as required

  • Contributing to the annual budget/plan andregular forecast process through close work with the business. Ensure outputsare robust and completed in a timely manner

  • Providing detailed financial analysis and supportfor business initiatives such as new business opportunities

  • Developing a good working knowledge of relevantsegments, act as a subject matter expert for any queries relating to financialperformance

  • Developing a detailed understanding of localmarket trends

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’sDegree in Accounting or Finance and 4 or more years of experience in theFinance areaOR

  • HighSchool Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Financearea

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’sDegree in Accounting, Finance, Math or the Sciences

  • Insurance industry experience

  • Financial statement analysis experience

  • Project management experience

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

  • Technology experience related to one or more ofthe following areas: financial reportingsystems, Business Objects or similar query tools

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
