Executive Assistant


Zurich is looking for an Executive Assistant to support our Enterprise Services Division. In this role you will primarily support the Head of Enterprise Services in our Schaumburg Office. We are looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, can manage multiple priorities, can work independently and has great organizational skills. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for:

  • Personal assistance and support for member of Executive Committee and other leaders within Enterprise Services by supporting the day-to-day activities and contributing to the realization of the strategic objectives in Enterprise Services

  • Calendar Management- scheduling meetings and arranging for appropriate meeting space, equipment and catering

  • Travel-arranging domestic and some international travel

  • Administrative Support-preparing documents, creating meeting materials, presentations, and expense reports

  • Event Planning/Coordination-facilitate and run meetings, work with the Zurich Events Team to plan leadership meetings / events

  • Special Projects-Assist executive / team on special projects as required

If you have strong administrative skills, are creative and analytical and want to take on new responsibilities while working on a great team, this might be the position for you.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in the Administrative areaOR

  • Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 3 or more years of experience in the Administrative area


  • Experience planning, organizing and scheduling work

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of company operations, and organizational procedures

  • Detail oriented

  • Project management skills

  • Administrative experience in a multi-tasked, high-paced, confidential environment

  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills

  • Strong organization skills with expertise in calendar management and meeting planning

  • Microsoft Office experience

  • Aptitude to learn new technology and leverage these tools

  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
