Cyber Threat Intelligence Consultant
Zurich Services LLC (a division of Zurich North America) is hiring a Cyber Threat Intelligence Consultant and this person can work out of our Schaumburg, IL North America Headquarters or remotely. This person will report to the Head of Cyber Threat Intelligence.
Perform external and internal cyber threat discovery, define and categorize the threat, assess the risk posed to Zurich information systems and develop courses of action to implement mitigating controls
Write formal intelligence products and brief executive staff on emerging threats and the associated risk
Maintain a current knowledge of priority intelligence requirements and the techniques, tactics and procedures used by cyber threat actors to compromise corporate networks
Assist as required with investigations related to Insider Risk and Digital Forensics
Bachelor’s degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area OR
Zurich Cybersecurity Technician Apprentice, including Cyber Security Certification and 6 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area OR
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area
Experience formulating risk-based cyber security strategies.
Experience communicating security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff.
Knowledgeable with current cyber threats and associated tactics, techniques, and procedures used to target IT systems.
Experienced using the Intelligence cycle to collect, process, analyze and disseminate intelligence products
Proven ability to succeed in collaborative work environments and build relationships
Industry certifications such as, but not limited to: A+, Network+, Server+, Security+, CyberSecurity Analyst+, and Penetration Tester+, PMP, CRISC, CEH, Security+, Comptia SEC+, GIAC
Prior experience with Splunk, Tanium and/or Demisto
