Zurich is currently searching for an IT Service Delivery Consultant to work on our IT Services team. This position will be out of our Overland Park Office.

IT Services manages day-to-day IT infrastructure service for Zurich North America on a national scale, in partnership with our global partners and both our internal customers and our external suppliers and in accordance with contract requirements, SLAs, and internal agreements.

The IT Service Delivery Consultant applies technical and operational knowledge to deliver effective IT Services that meet the day-to-day needs of the business. In addition, the IT Service Delivery Consultant will be expected to work proactively to identify and strengthen service capabilities at the technical and business process levels.

Responsibilities may include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:

  • Provides insight and analysis that support effective operational delivery of core IT Services to all business partners within the ZNA Transaction Solutions application service provider (ASP) organization

  • Manages intake request tickets from submission to final resolution

  • Analyzes intake requests and facilitates process to gather/define configuration requirements

  • Facilitates meetings with business and technical teams to gather, document and understand business needs, project scope and requirements

  • Collaborates with peers, suppliers, and business partners (internal and external)

  • Monitor systems availability/performance and takes adequate actions for problem prevention in own area of responsibility.

  • Supports business projects in planning stages to support consistent implementation within existing (planned) infrastructure.

  • Understands service improvement objectives and uses defined KPI’s to measure performance

  • Business Travel, as required

  • Extended Hours during Peak Periods/Shift Work/Holiday Work, as required

  • Regular Predictable Attendance

  • Visibility in the Office, as required

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree and 3 or more years of experience in the Information TechnologyOR

  • Zurich Cybersecurity Technician Apprentice, including Associate Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the information technology area. OR

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in the information technology areaAND

  • MS Office experience

  • Knowledge of information technology operations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Finance and Insurance Operations area

  • Experience working with IT demand management ticketing systems and processes

  • Experience with monitoring systems and troubleshooting concepts

  • Experience in building and managing stakeholder relationships

  • Collaborating in team environment

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Customer service experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
