Accumulation Management Analyst (Senior or AVP Level)
Zurich North America is seeking an Accumulation Management Analyst (Senior or AVP Level) to deliver thought leadership and actionable insights to the business regarding natural and man-made catastrophes by using both internal and externally sourced Cat Modeling capabilities to assess catastrophe and accumulation risk. This position will be fully remote, open to any US state.
Specific duties include:
Monitoring and maintaining accumulation, catastrophe and other exposures as part of Zurich’s balanced property portfolio;
Working with Business units by providing insights to optimize our accumulations, including those from catastrophes;
Assisting in catastrophe planning, monitoring and capacity allocation;
Hotspot reviews and Manual Data Calls and being key contact for Stack/Clash concerns;
Acting as the subject matter expert on developing framework of Next Generation Underwriting and Accumulation System/Tool;
Researching and understanding potential future impact on accumulations of changing global conditions;
Representing North America business with Group Accumulation Management, Group Reinsurance and other Global functions with respects to accumulation concerns and priorities
Modeling specific business segments utilizing approved vendor and internally developed software models
This role will be filled at either the Senior or AVP Accumulation Management Analyst.The hiring manager will determine the appropriate level based upon the selected applicant’s experience and skill set relative to the qualifications listed for this position.
Basic Qualifications AVP Level:
Bachelors Degree and 8 or more years of experience in the Underwriting areaOR
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in the Underwriting area
Basic Qualifications Senior Level:
Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Underwriting areaOR
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Underwriting area
Experience with using catastrophe models or their output
Strong knowledge in insurance financials and/or pricing
Ability to work with large amounts of data
Strong knowledge of line/s of business and the legal and regulatory environment
Ability to multi-task
Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills

The salary range for this role at the Senior level is $100,900-$126,100. The salary range for this role at the AVP level is $127,400-$159,200. This is the range Zurich NA in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of the posting. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed remotely in any US state. Base pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also bonus eligible. No amount is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
