We seek an Audit Manager or Senior Auditor for our Group Audit team based in North America who wants to specialize in auditing Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance.

The Audit Manager or Senior Auditor, P&C will primarily lead, or support audits focused on P&C operations, including but not limited to Underwriting and Claims across all of our lines of businesses.

This role will be filled at either the Audit Manager or Senior Auditor level. The hiring manager will determine the appropriate level based upon the selected applicant’s experience and skill set relative to the qualifications listed for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the results of audit work and contribute to the delivery of an outcome-based assurance as the 3rd line of defense

  • Provide clear and convincing insights on the governance, control environment, and the impact on audit stakeholders’ business outcomes

  • Provide professional and P&C technical training, guidance, and general advice to the assigned team and other team members.

Basic Qualifications – Audit Manager:

  • Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience in finance, accounting or audit (compliance, financial, operational) area OR a combination of each

  • Travel 10-25%

Basic Qualifications – Senior Auditor:

  • Bachelors Degree and 4 or more years of experience in finance, accounting or audit (compliance, financial, operational) OR a combination of each

  • Travel 10-25%

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).

  • P&C Insurance certification, ideally from the American Institute For Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (e.g., CPCU, AIC, AU, or ARM), or close to obtaining this.

  • Possess significant knowledge of Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance, Underwriting, Claims, Reinsurance, and US regulatory requirements.

  • A clear understanding of the IIA Standards.

  • Understand the methodology required to deliver excellent audit outcomes and the skills and competencies needed to provide quality, impactful and insightful audit reports.

  • Excellent relationship management skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • International work experience.

  • You should be willing and able to travel nationally and internationally approximately 10-15%.

  • MBA or other relevant Master’s Degree.
