Zurich NA Systems Administrator in Anoka, Minnesota

RCIS (Rural Community Insurance Services), a division of Zurich North America, is currently hiring a Systems Administrator to work for its team out of our Anoka, MN office where this individual will primarily be responsible for Azure DevOps (TFS) Cloud administration, infrastructure maintenance and support. Specifically, this will include administration (i.e. storage, permissions and cost analysis), migrations (including migration docs and deployments), maintenance, troubleshooting (Gateways, APIm, and code performance) and research.
Responsibilities will include:
ADO/TSF support including permissions, creating new repos, branch policies, Sync Script, managing personal access tokens, build servers and setting up deployment and/or release agents and agent pools
Supporting highly complex Winforms applications using advanced knowledge of technologies including VB.Net, Infragistics Controls, Windows Presentation Foundation and associated technologies
Performance testing around SQL traces, load testing, profiling etc.
Development support including researching build issues and cleaning NUGet packages
Release administration involving release branch/configuration, updating configurations, posting release steps, unlocking branches and manually deploying CIMax
Building of pipelines on OnPrem YAML builds, Azure Cloud YAML, and AAT processes
Migrations of OnPrem including migration docs, MS Teams Site/release steps, technical validation, preparation builds and production technical validation support
Administration of and migrations for Azure Cloud including creating/updating migration docs, deployment of ST, TR, PD, and technical validation (manual) in ST, TR, and PD
Documentation of Release Administration, Technical validation, architect, developer setup and Azure environment documentation
Setup of CIMax on new Citrix Server, provide server support, enablement/disablement of Citrix script and troubleshooting
Development, Team Guidance, and Meetings to include standups, iterations, and retros, CIMax planning, architecture/design, database review, enterprise architecture review, Crop IT PDDF review and weekly CHG reviews
Participation in infrastructure and maintenance projects
Adhering to compliance policy around audit, training, Dynatrace, Vericode, contrast penetration testing and disaster recovery
Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Systems Administration areaOR
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Systems Administration areaAND
Knowledge and experience operating in am multiple master domain model
Crop Insurance business experience or knowledge of the insurance industry
Development experience with CIMax highly preferred
Agile methodology experience preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills needed; ability to tailor approach based upon audience and message
Aptitude to understand and analyze business needs and goals
