Description

Operations Processors are responsible for daily operational tasks. They perform a variety of tasks that range from moderately complex to complex process or functions. They are required to take accountability for the entire process from receipt of work to the end of the process. Tasks require daily coordination from their manager with information among various departmental needs. They are responsible for using multiple computer applications daily and require knowledge of general computer systems. Duties may include: receiving and reviewing incoming work; escalating appropriate resources as needed; entering transactions into PC applications using 10 key skills; verifying accuracy; using multiple resources and records; preparing, editing, distributing, and/or correcting specialized and/or complex documents. They work under general supervision following established processes and procedures. Processors are required to exercises judgment within set guidelines.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 1 or more years of experience in the Clerical Support area

OR

  • Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and No prior experience required in the Clerical Support area

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Team members are responsible for extracting and scanning physical mail sent in by Agents using the physical mail guideline instructions.

  2. Process incoming daily work via Kodak. While processing daily incoming work they are responsible for identifying any multi-form documents, as well as forms that require signatures and identifying forms that are used as combination forms and correctly processing them according to guidelines.

  3. Team members are responsible for EDITING special instruction documents with missing policy numbers, missing crop years, or missing document form types.

  4. Create type and dated folders to be dropped into production.

  5. Key Meta data that could not be captured from the barcode using the Records Management Center keying application. (10-key required)

  6. Rename pdf files based on specific naming structure and information on pdf.

  7. Process work from Claims/RSO/Accounting

  8. Validate boxes that have been scanned to ensure accuracy.

  9. Scan documents that have been prepped using Kodak Cannon scanning software.

  10. Process docs via CRM application

  11. Assist in any special projects as needed.
