Job Summary

As a Licensing Administrator, primary accountabilities will include:

  • Determines states where license is needed, types of licenses necessary, applications, documents and other requirements needed for producer or adjuster to qualify for license

  • Reviews applications and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy and returns incomplete applications or requests missing supporting documentation

  • Monitors expiration of licenses, certification due dates, and other regulatory requirements of employees, agents and agencies, and also manages reminder communications to keep credentials current

  • Completes appropriate forms, processes fees and notifies the proper departments of producer cancellation in a timely manner.

  • Ensure company compliance with any licensing requirements as required by federal regulations.

This position will be located in Anoka, MN.

Job Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma (or GED)

  • 1 or more years of administrative experience in a busy office environment, and working with deadlines and multiple ongoing priorities

  • Proficient with Excel

  • Working knowledge of computers, and the ability to adapt and learn a variety of different systems/applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a highly regulated office environment, and/or understanding of insurance licensing process/procedures

  • Customer service experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills to effectively partner cross functionally

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage workload independently

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Detail oriented
