Crop Compliance Project Consultant
We are currently looking for a Crop Compliance Project Consultant to join the Crop Compliance team. This person can work out of our Anoka, MN office OR remotely for the right person.
As the Crop Compliance Project Consultant, you will be reporting to the Crop Compliance manager and supporting the Crop Compliance team’s SharePoint sites and web-based applications as well as performing data analytics and reporting.
The Crop Compliance team is responsible for managing and monitoring the federal crop insurance program’s (FCIP)quality control reviews, compliance cases and investigations; identifying new laws and regulations for the FCIP; performing assurance testing of controls; acting as facilitator of regulator audits and submitting operational plans to the FCIP regulator. This is a high paced, dynamic position that requires interactions with multiple internal stakeholders.
Utilize business, technology, organizational change and collaborative skills to develop and deploy implementation strategies and deliverables.
Provide project planning and status reporting for assigned deliverables and activities.
Apply knowledge of business objectives, processes, products and services in order to develop recommendations for new programs and/or initiatives to solve challenges.
Coordinate planning, facilitate meetings and monitor decisions.
Build strong relationships across the business.
Assist with, and may deliver, change management planning and execution (e.g. training, communications) to support the implementation of solutions and initiatives that support strategic and operations priorities.
Develop business requirements and user test cases and participate in UAT for technology solutions.
Assist with technical training, guidance and support in the use and functionality of technology tools to foster greater collaboration, continual improvement, simplification and efficiency.
Support the completion of functional projects and the project deliverables to required level of quality.
Act as liaison with Information Technology teams to improve and maintain systems needed to support the Compliance teams.
Support compilation and submission of the annual Compliance Risk Assessment, Operational Plans and monthly reporting to share results with stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Insurance or Operations area OR
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Insurance or Operations area OR
Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including Associate Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Insurance or Operations area AND
Project management experience
Data analysis, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Crop insurance industry experience
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization from entry level to senior leaders
Ability to develop collaborative relationships
Change management, process management and negotiation skills
Organized and able to consistently meet deadlines with quality results
Able to solve complex problems
Strong written and verbal communication skills needed; ability to tailor approach based upon audience and message.
Experience with SharePoint Online, Teams, PowerBI, SQL and Microsoft Office products
