Sr. Contingent Workforce Operations Consultant
The Zurich Contingent Workforce and Supplier Governance Team is currently in the process of expanding our program and is seeking a Sr. Contingent Workforce Operations Consultant who will support the contingent labor management function while interfacing enterprise wide. This team is structured within Business Services Management of the Operations & Technology organization. Ideally this role is to work out of our North American headquarters in Schaumburg, IL, however, will consider candidates outside of this location to work virtually.
Manages the requisition process of contingent workers by partnering with the Zurich engagement managers to get a full understanding of position requirements and effectively translating for suppliers. Shortlists the candidates submitted by the supplier and assists the engagement manager through the selection and onboarding process.
Supports the contingent worker, suppliers, and engagement managers with ongoing maintenance of contingent workers including time sheets, performance discussions with suppliers, contingent worker issues, etc.
Maintains training content and provides adhoc and ongoing training to contingent workers, suppliers, and Zurich engagement managers.
Manages supplier performance including candidate quality utilizing a monthly scorecarding process, performance improvement plans, supplier optimization, etc.
Creates adhoc and regular reporting through the vendor management system
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Consulting area
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Consulting area
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Consulting area
Experience in Organizational Effectiveness or Change Management
Project management experience
Experience working for a staffing agency, Vendor Management Office (VMO), or Managed Service Provider (MSP)
Experience with a Vendor Management System
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization from entry level to senior leaders
Supplier management experience
